Yay for 300 days of health & wellness!
This week was a great week. I boosted some of my elliptical workouts to 45 minutes and I've been able to get to 4.8 or 4.9 miles. In one workout I burned about 550 calories. Wow! I worked out every day (5 days) and gave myself the weekend off.
I was under my calories for the week and right on track for my nutrients (25% fat/50% carbs/25% protein). I was very contentious of what I was going tot eat for the day and made very good decisions.
Saturday and Sundays weigh-in had me surprised and excited. They were so low that I was only 2 lbs away from my goal weight. However this morning's weigh in was the exact opposite. It's quite confusing as this weekend I was very well hydrated and Sunday night didn't really eat any heavy food. My only thoughts are high salt and perhaps a different sleep schedule this morning.
This morning was my daughter's first day back at school so we both woke up at the crack of dawn to get her ready. My plan was to hop on the elliptical but, she was so nervous and excited, I decided to skip it and spend some time with her on her first day back. Besides, afternoon workouts are just as good.
So overall, I was hoping to be able to surprise everyone with an announcement of only being 2 lbs away from my goal, but alas, it seems that perhaps I'm a little further away that had hoped. Hopefully this week I'll see those wonderful numbers return (and then know that this morning was just a fluke). With being SO CLOSE to my goal - every pound counts. So the anticipation is deadly.
(On a side note, it's been two weeks since I've taken my measurements, I plan to do so tomorrow morning, and I'll update if there are any changes.)
