My 10 Reasons to be Thankful

In honor of "Turkey Day" (or what was originally called Thanksgiving), here are my ten reasons to be thankful...

  1. I'm thankful for fitness blogs and websites who dedicate themselves to health, fitness, weight loss, etc. (Even the bad ones) Its a source of information and therefore a tool in my "health journey." Thank you to the bloggers!

  2. I'm thankful for my boss and co-workers who are very patient with me walking in the door at 9am or leaving a little early or long lunches. I've spent that time exercising most of the time and they've never once fussed about it. Thank you to my office!

  3. I'm thankful for chickens. Yes, you heard me right, chickens. I eat egg whites (boiled) almost every morning. Its helped me to keep my protein nutrient ratio high everyday and that's something I've had to learn to do. Thanks, Bwak!

  4. I'm thankful for the elliptical cycle I purchased about 2-3 years ago. It was the best $700 ever spent. Rain is not an excuse. "Going to the gym" is not an excuse. Its a reminder that fitness is right there, staring me it the face. Thanks, Schwin!

  5. Couch to 5K. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I've always wanted to be a runner, and I'm well on my way to making that happen. Couldn't have done it without something to help me learn. Thanks, Alex Stankovic!

  6. Thank you to the men and women who have sacrificed in the name of the USA. Past, present, and future. I have the freedom to live my life (to undergo my journey) without worrying about bombs going off or an unstable government. Thank you, soldiers, politicians, and volunteers!

  7. My blog/facebook/twitter readers, followers, commenters. Yes, You! Thank you for reading and commenting and giving me the motivation to keep going. You inspire me to want to inspire you! Thank you!

  8. Thank you to my family, friends, etc. who have been SO supportive and put up with my constant talking and rambling about my journey. You guys are patient and supportive. I appreciate it. Thank you, XT, Todd, Lee, W, and KT!

  9. Thank you to the "past" me. For the education on how I was, emotionally where I was, and the mistakes I've made. It's a learning experience, and without that "past" I wouldn't be where I am now. Thank you, old DubyaWife!

  10. Thank you to the "new" me. For the bravery, courageousness, and perseverance that I have gained. Keep it up! You're doing a a great job! Thank you, new DubyaWife!
