  5. What a generous giveaway, and I'm SO inspired by your weight loss journey!

I celebrate my health by rewarding myself ever so often as I lose weight. It's things I normally wouldn't do/buy for myself, like a pedicure or a pair of fun shoes. :-)

  7. I celebrate my health by eating healthy meals, and committing to a diverse and FUN work out. At 6months pregnant that often feels like a task but I love it.

Not to mention everyone is noticing how I look more athletic just with a bump :) And Happy Blog-a-versary!

  8. I celebrate my health by realizing that it took a lot of soul searching and yes, even counseling to realize that I need to be happy for me..not for anyone else. If I want to lose weight and get healthy, it’s got to be because I want to do it for me, and no one else. I have worked for the last two years almost to get to where I am. I am now (give or take a few) 50 pounds lighter and a whole hell of a lot stronger, physically and emotionally. I am not going to lie and say I’ve never done anything wrong, or wanted to quit and give up or that I couldn’t have done things differently. I’m sure I could have, but I didn’t have the strength then to say “enough is enough”. I still have days where it’s all I can do to get out of bed and get dressed. I’m not perfect, somedays– I don’t work-out and I eat like crap, I feel down and wonder if it’s all really worth the effor that I am trying to put into it, and I ask myself, is this the choice I want to make right now, and yeah, sometimes I really want to choose the chocolate cake and beer, so I do. But, making choices and learning from them is the best part of this journey, because there are always choices, multiple paths to take to get to where you want to go and one of them will invariably be the easy path, but its only reward at the end– is that it was easy. I’m not one to take the easy path.

  9. I celebrate healthy living with struggles and constant refocuses. I have played with several different trackers and programs and pick and chose from there. I focus on different aspects, such as, water, fruit, veggies, etc. Smart choices, allowing setbacks without beatdowns, is a priority to me. I eat healthy with focus on decisions daily and at times hourly. I walk and try to run. I will run that 5k, one day. This week - WATER, WATER, WATER. My kids help me and want to be healthier too. What better reason to be healthy for them. Teaching them to be healthier will only make their future brighter.

I'd love to win something to help pump up the strategics and planning in my ongoing healthy living plan.

  11. I celebrate my health by working out & eating clean. I have finally realized that taking time to go to the gym everyday is not selfish! It allows me time to decompress, to work stress out of my system and feel better about myself which in turn makes me a better wife, mother, daughter & friend.

Taking care of myself has also changed our family. We recently did our first 5k together. My husband began coming to the gym with me. We take walks outside together. It has brought us closer!!

I am at the beginning of my journey. I have lost 20 lbs so far and feel fantastic!
