Day 1 (The #Paleo Challenge) #GoDW

So today is the day... I kinda of had a soft start this past week which makes for a great transition.  But today is really Day 1 of committing to #paleo

...and this feeling seems oddly familiar...

I already feel more energized, leaner than I've ever felt before.

This morning's weigh in:  198.8 lbs (remember I was 203.6 a week ago!)

On the slate for food today:  
Breakfast:

  • Two hard boiled eggs
  • Coffee with 2 tbs coconut milk (one stevia - my one cheat)

Mid-Morning Snack:

  • Ostrim Meat Snack

Lunch:

  • Leftovers! Coconut Curried Turkey and Tomatoes over Kale with Green Beans

Mid-Afternoon Snack:

  • Nectarine and some almonds

Dinner:

  • Out on a date with my bestie! More than likely boiled crawfish or boiled crabs with some cider beer or wine.  (And veggies of course!) 

Late Snack:

  • My fav has become Strawberry smoothie with a scoop of Chocolate Egg Protein, but depends on hunger level. 


Exercise: Already did a 20 minute workout on the elliptical and a plankaday.  So Day 1 looks like it's off to a good start!

  1. Great work. Don't you love how the pounds just fall off?

    Did you read those books I recommended? The WHY behind all of this is as important as putting it into practice, and it'll help you understand your choices.

    For dinner tonight, I'd stick with red wine if you can. Cider beer is pretty sugary. :) Keep it up, girl.
